Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Cedar Rapids, IA and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, I do require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. Send me an email & let's chat!

Where do the photoshoots take place?

In Cedar Rapids, IA (unless hired for travel). I photograph out of luxury hotel rooms/suites or other suitable spaces. For this reason, I am able to offer different backgrounds, styles and themes! This gives your session a one of a kind look and feel. We will determine the exact location prior to your session.

How many pictures will I receive?

Every session is different and most of my image count is listed under the package descriptions. If you are wanting to get more images than what is listed, I have add-on options we can discuss!

Will my photos be shared?

No! Not unless you say it's okay. Every client I have featured on my social media has signed a written consent form. If you aren't comfortable with your photos being shared, that is completely fine. Whichever you decide, let me know by marking it on the boudoir documents.

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery link by email, with all your photos, within max of 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints! I will send you all the details to make your gallery viewing simple and straight forward.

How do you photograph boudoir?

I love being by your side to help you grow more confident in the woman you are! I'll send you a guide to help you organize your days prior to your session along with some checklists of things to bring with you. On your session date, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, and all the little details that make your session unique.

Do you provide the lingerie?

You will need to bring your own lingerie, at this time I do not have a vast selection to chose from. I do, however, have some blankets & props that can be utilized. I have a whole separate blog dedicated to the best lingerie, check that one out!

What about hair and makeup?

At this time, I do not provide hair and makeup. I do have a list of great stylists in the area that can have you looking glam in no time. Otherwise, have a little me time and DIY it. You know yourself the best, so who better than yourself to put on what makes you feel pretty?

Can I bring a friend to my session?

I prefer photographing my clients one on one. Simply put, I've learned that an audience can make you feel more self-conscious which can show through in your photos. If you do decide to bring a friend, they must wait outside the room/studio.

I have cellulite/stretch marks/acne, can you remove that?

Most likely, yes. During the post session process, I will look through each image and touch up areas. What I won't do is swap faces onto bodies and "take off 30 lbs." If there is an area you are self-conscious about, please note it on the forms and we can discuss poses and lighting to emphasize the parts you love.

I'm older than/not as thin as the girls on your website, can I still book a session?

Absolutely! I have photographed woman over 50 and plus size women. Not everyone is comfortable with sharing their session online, so I can't post as many examples. What I can promise is a session that flatters you and your body. Every woman is beautiful, in every shape and size. It's my job to help show you that!

I can't make my session date, can I reschedule?

Yes! Life is busy and things come up. I am more than happy to be flexible for you. You can reschedule your session once without penalty with a minimum of 21 days notice. If you need to reschedule with less than a 21 days notice, a non-refundable rescheduling fee of $500 is due in order to reschedule your session day. Any balance paid is not refundable or transferable if you decide to cancel or you don't show up for your appointment. When you sign your contract, I stop offering that date to other clients, thus turning away business that may have been interested in a session that day.

What's your refund policy?

Due to the custom imagery and photography process, the session price and any products ordered are non-refundable. If there is a problem with your session, please reach out and let's discuss options.

Do you require a deposit?

Session deposits are 50% of the total session fee due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. A deposit is required to hold your date.
